Egypt has decided to move its ambassador to Palestine from Gaza to the West Bank. This actions is a clear indication that the Egyptians government, which is extremly worried at the new neighbours who showed up on our door step, is backing the new government appointed by the Palestinian president.

But I thought it was only the *evil west* who was taking sides in this?
Aren’t the Arab nations appealing to us that we not back Fatah over Hamas because Hamas is the ‘legitimate, democratically elected government’ and we therefore *must* recognize them?
Hmmm….
Oh but no doubt Egypt is being corrupted, trying to keep on the US’s good side for the aid dollars, right? That must be it.

And why does Egypt send an ambassador to a nonexistant country anyway? I demand that Egypt appoint an ambassador to Brooklyn!
